Dense fog is causing traffic gridlock in numerous areas of Punjab.

On Thursday and Friday evenings, dense fog has impeded transportation movement in a number of Punjab cities, including Lahore.

According to sources, visibility on vital roads in plain regions around the province has diminished due to severe fog, resulting in the closure of Lahore Motorway M2 from Thokar Niaz Baig to Pindi Bhattian and Lahore Motorway M11 from Lahore to Sambrial to all sorts of traffic.

The Grand Trunk (GT) Road has been recommended by the highway police. They also recommended that drivers slow down and switch on their fog lights.
