In the last 24 hours, Pakistan recorded 47 fatalities caused by a new coronavirus, bringing the total number of positive cases to 1,474,075. As of Thursday, the total number of fatalities in Pakistan has risen to 29,648.
According to the most recent National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) figures, 3,914 people tested positive with COVID-19 in the previous 24 hours.
The province with the largest number of deaths is Punjab, followed by Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The outbreak has claimed the lives of 13,298 people in Punjab, 7,954 in Sindh, 6,082 in KP, 990 in Islamabad, 765 in Azad Kashmir, 370 in Balochistan, and 189 in Gilgit Baltistan.
