The Peshawar High Court (PHC) on Friday postponed the second round of local body elections in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), which was scheduled for March 27.
During the hearing at the Abbottabad registry, the judge mentioned that people are having difficulty voting owing to heavy snowfall. The judge ordered that the district authority reschedule the election of local bodies after Ramazan.
It should be noted that the delegates of Kohistan and Naran submitted a petition to postpone the elections due to adverse weather conditions.
